Shampoo + conditioner: Every routine starts with the basics - shampoo and conditioner of course! Use our velveteen dream smoothing shampoo + conditioner for the foundation of your sleekest blowout yet. These two contain:

• Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, which adds luster and allows hair to retain its natural moisture.
• Provitamin B5 which promotes hair's resilience, smooths and conditions. 

Basically, these products allow you to fight frizz and humidity the second you start your wash routine. Additionally, they’re safe for color-treated, Brazilian-treated and keratin-treated hair!

Heat protection: Once you’re out of the shower and have done all your other self-care rituals, towel dry your hair (we recommend microfiber towels to decrease any frizz) and apply a heat protectant. For thicker hair types we recommend our blockade heat defense serum. Keep your hair safe with this lightweight serum that protects hair from thermal styling and blow drying. The star ingredient in this baby is:

• Cyclopentasiloxane; a heat protective agent that seals hair against moisture loss without weighing it down. So, if you have thicker/dryer hair, this is the heat protectant for you! 

If you have a finer hair type that tends to look oily fast, try our shield anti-humidity spray. This heat-activated spray protects against frizz-inducing humidity for over 24 hours. And yes, you read that right, HEAT ACTIVATED. That means you must use some sort of hot tool to get the benefits of this product. This product contains:

• Polyquaternum-59, a cationic polymer that smooths the cuticle and is a known UV filter.

Hydrolyzed Keratin, which helps to improve moisture retention while giving hair softness, shine, and bounce. 

Styling: Once you’ve applied your protection (😉), it’s time to get to styling! Our favorite styling product for a sleek blowout is the velveteen dream smoothing balm. This product fights humidity and frizz so you don’t have to! Take a small amount and apply to damp hair before using the hair blow dryer brush. The balm contains:
